Food

There’s something about this kitchen that makes me want to cook. Maybe it’s not so much the kitchen as it is the location and that I’m cooking for myself. I don’t feel like I’m on a timeline, I feel more free to experiment and play. If it doesn’t turn out well… so what? I’m not going to disappoint anyone. That said, this kitchen is CUTE.

That said, I aspire to make delicious, beautiful and mostly healthy meals. Like Pennsylvania, there’s no shortage of fresh produce, family farms, farmers’ markets. Yesterday I went to an indoor, year-round market in Belfast and picked up some mussels, hakurei turnips (which I LOVE), and cooking greens.

A also love to bake, so I had some fun with that, too.

In order: Pita made with local flour; strawberry crumble (local, in-season, amazing strawberries); croissants.

Today will be a leftovers day. Food waste is a huge NO for me.
